UX Leadership & Research

About me

Senior UX Researcher with over a decade of experience in e-commerce and digital product environments. I work at the intersection of research, design, and product to help teams make evidence-based decisions under real commercial constraints.

My practice focuses on translating behavioural insight into clear direction for product teams. I work closely with design, product, marketing, and engineering to ensure research informs prioritisation, not just validation.

My approach combines behavioural insight, systems thinking, and pragmatic research methods grounded in operational reality.

Leadership and Mentoring

I contribute to UX leadership through mentoring, strategic support, and close collaboration rather than formal line management.

  • Mentor junior researchers and designers on research planning, synthesis, and stakeholder communication
  • Support research prioritisation by framing questions and clarifying evidence with product and design leads
  • Partner with senior designers and heads of department to inform digital direction and research focus
  • Contribute to personalisation and journey initiatives across B2C and B2B e-commerce platforms
  • Provide external mentorship through the Nielsen Norman Group UXC Mentorship Programme (2024) and ADPList

Before the UK: Foundations in Italy

Before moving into UX in the UK, I worked as a Senior Graphic Designer in Italy, developing a foundation in minimalist design and architectural thinking.

I worked with AG Fronzoni, whose essentialist approach to form, space, and discipline shaped my attention to clarity and structure. I later collaborated with an Italian lighting design company working with internationally recognised architects, contributing to large-scale public and commercial projects focused on spatial coherence and experiential clarity.

Alongside this, I worked within multidisciplinary agencies serving international automotive clients and developed brand and service experiences across hospitality, food service, and luxury retail contexts.

These years established a cross-disciplinary perspective that continues to inform my UX research practice.

Photography

Alongside UX, I maintain an active photography practice that sharpens my observational skills and sensitivity to composition.

My work has received international recognition, including honourable mentions from Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3), the International Photography Awards (IPA), and features in LensCulture.

Photography reinforces how I approach UX research: careful framing, attention to detail, and awareness of narrative and emotional tone.
